Like all the “Molly” books, Jeanie Schoonover-Egolf helps us to experience the world from a child’s point of view while transmitting critical Christian values. This book gently teaches the value of charitable love as Molly struggles to invite a hard-to-love bully in her class to her birthday party. The point is illustrated with a lovely take on several Bible stories while relating them to the everyday experience of a young child. It also highlights the stages of forming a conscience. The pen drawings on top of the watercolor illustrations are fabulous! I think this is my favorite book yet of the wonderful “Molly” series. I highly recommend this book.”

Molly McBride and the Purple Habit 
This looks like an adorable story! I just sewed my daughters a dress up outfit today, and we’ll see how long it takes me to convince them to take it off. Kids love homemade dress-up 🙂 Maybe I’ll have to make them habits next! I’ve been searching for just the right fabric for Our Lady of Guadalupe outfits. We have tilmas for the boys… I’ll have to share pics of them someday 🙂

I love Molly. She reminds me so much of my girls! They even have several wolf stuffies 🙂
What a beautiful way to teach children about vocations. We’ve really enjoyed reading these books!
